I serve as a youth representative of my neighborhood association, UCAN, and organize food and book drives to benefit those less fortunate.
In September 2025, I collected more than 1,300 books from neighbors for Prisoners Literature Project (PLP), a Berkeley-based group that ships books to incarcerated individuals across the U.S. to encourage reading and the pursuit of knowledge.
In February 2026, I collected more than 500 boxes of macaroni and cheese for the Berkeley Food Network, a local food bank.
Since September 2025, I've been representing District 8 on the City of Berkeley's Youth Commission. The Commission meets monthly to identify the needs of young people and recommend youth services and programs.
In summer 2025, I was an intern with District 8 Council Member Mark Humbert. In September 2026, I returned for a fall internship with Mark Humbert.
